Introducing korit.ai
Most professional 3D mapping tools are built indoor-first, for GPS-denied environments. That’s the opposite of how autonomous vehicles are engineered, where outdoor and indoor-like conditions — tunnels, parking structures, dense urban canyons — are fused continuously, without a hard seam. We think mapping hardware should work the same way: one continuous track from the street to the stairwell.
That’s what we’re building at korit.ai — a single sensor platform (360° LiDAR, global-shutter camera, IMU, and GNSS/INS, writing to a hot-swappable SSD) that moves between four physical mounts — worn, vehicle-mounted, robot-mounted, or fixed — depending on how a site needs to be captured. Raw data is processed off-device, so the same core can serve very different workflows.
We’re focused right now on construction documentation, infrastructure and facility surveys, facility management, and heritage/as-built records — early conversations with partners, not a finished list. If one of those sounds like your world, we’d like to hear how you map it today.
korit.ai is in early development: our founder’s background is in automotive SLAM, LiDAR, and GNSS/INS sensor fusion, and our partner’s is in civil and architecture engineering, grounding the hardware in what real sites actually need.
If you’d like to see your own site mapped, request a demo — no obligation, and we’ll follow up to schedule it.
