Mapping doesn't stop where GPS does.
korit.ai builds 3D mapping hardware that carries automotive-grade sensor fusion — LiDAR, cameras, IMU, GNSS/INS — from the open street into GPS-denied interiors, without losing accuracy at the door.
Most mapping systems lose accuracy the moment you walk indoors.
Professional 3D mapping tools are largely built indoor-first, for GPS-denied environments. That's the opposite of how autonomous vehicles are engineered — where outdoor and indoor-like conditions (tunnels, parking structures, dense urban canyons) are fused continuously, without a hard seam. We think mapping hardware should work the same way: one continuous track from the street to the stairwell.
One sensor platform, mounted your way.
A single hardware core — 360° LiDAR, global-shutter camera, IMU, and GNSS, writing to a hot-swappable SSD — moves between four physical mounts depending on how a site needs to be captured. Raw data is processed off-device, so the same core can serve very different workflows.
Worn
A stabilized frame, adapted from camera-rig design, to keep walking motion from adding noise to the scan.
Vehicle-mounted
The same sensor core rides on a car or cart for corridor, roadway, or site-perimeter capture at speed.
Robot-mounted
Fits robotic platforms for repeatable, scheduled capture in spaces that are hazardous or hard to access.
Fixed
Mounted in place for long-duration or before/after comparison capture of a single location.
korit.ai is in early development. The configuration shown reflects our current design direction and will evolve as hardware and field testing progress.

We're working directly with early partners to figure out where continuous outdoor-indoor capture matters most. These are the areas we're exploring right now — if one sounds like your world, we'd like to hear how you map it today.
Construction documentation
As-built capture that follows a site from the yard to the fourth floor without re-anchoring.
Infrastructure & facility surveys
Continuous capture across mixed indoor/outdoor infrastructure — utilities, plants, campuses.
Facility management
Repeatable scans of the same site over time, for change tracking and space planning.
Heritage & as-built records
Documentation of buildings and grounds where outdoor context and interior detail both matter.
Built by people who've mapped the world at driving speed.
From autonomous driving to indoor mapping
Background in SLAM algorithms, LiDAR, cameras, IMUs, and GNSS/INS sensors, with hands-on experience in sensor synchronization and calibration for autonomous vehicles — plus software and hardware project management.
Grounding the hardware in real sites
Civil and architecture engineering background, leading research into target use cases and the customers who'll actually carry this hardware through a building.
